We had the best wedding ever! It was perfect. We had it at this old historical home called the Dallas Woman's Forum (below) and we got married on the landing of the stairs in front of a beautiful antique Tiffany stained-glass window. Everything was even more special because Grandma Dottie, as a retired Justice of the Peace, performed the ceremony and Sarah was my maid of honor. Cory, a good friend of Mark's, was his best man.
One of the best things about the location was that they had a preferred caterer, a DJ, pretty much everything we needed. I found the florist for our few flower arrangements but that was about it. We didn't really need any decoration because the location itself was so unique. The whole thing was so low stress because everyone knew exactly what to do since they had worked there so many times before. Mark and I had everyone around us that we loved and we had the best time. There was dancing and drinking and so much fun all the way around. It was over before we knew it and we found ourselves dancing the final dance - Donna Summer's "Last Dance." The whole night was the epitome of perfection for us because we felt that the wedding was everything about who we are. We could not have asked for anything more.
