Our great adventure now is being a part of our sweet Milo's life as he grows up. Trying to be the best mommy and daddy that we can be while still being true to ourselves and each other is the most important thing to us now. I think that my favorite memories of this time in our lives will be the simple acts of our daily existence. Playing chase through the house, tickling Milo's little belly while he giggles uncontrollably, holding him while he is sick, meeting Mark's eyes over his little head with the shared knowledge that he means everything to us.
There is so much that we want to give Milo, not the least of which is a knowledge of unconditional love and the assurance that his mommy and daddy love each other very much. We struggle through some days but the good far outweighs the bad and there is so much to hold on to and work for - both for ourselves and for our little boy. Happy 10-year anniversary honey! I am so thankful that you are in my life.
