I am not much for New Year's resolutions. There is something about the beginning of a new year though, isn't there? Yesterday Mark and I spent the day (in between pushing Milo up and down the hallway in his new car) taking care of things around the house. We took down Christmas stuff, organized drawers, replaced burned out lights, changed the air filters, etc., etc. It felt like such a great way to start the year. This morning I came to work, pulled out my new 2009 calendar and wrote 2009 on a document for the very first time.
There is one thing that is definitely on the "To Do" list for the year. Mark and I are going to put all of our New Year's energy into getting our "financial house" in order. We are going to start saving more and making sure our money goes where it should. We both really want to be a good example to Milo in this as he gets older. We don't know exactly how yet but are going to work to teach him money management from a young age. Not this young! It never hurts to start thinking about it though. Best of luck to you all and your pursuit of New Year's wishes!
