Gratitude Journal

Today I am grateful for:

• That warm, sweet part of Milo's neck that he rests against me while I am carrying him to the car in the morning.
• The smell of his morning breath.
• A few warm days this week. I am not ready for spring but it is a nice balance to the cold weather we had this weekend.
• Seeing the shapes of all the trees without their leaves. I am enamored with trees in general. I love every stage - the buds that come out in spring, their green fullness in the summer, the boldness of the fall leaves and the intricacy of their naked limbs. So beautiful.
• Curel lotion. I am telling you... this stuff is AWESOME! Milo gets really dry so we have started using Curel on him. It is like miracle lotion. Also, my normal face lotion irritates my neck so I decided to try Curel's new youth-defense (aka anti-aging) version. I love it! I use it on my neck and on my hands and it has already made my skin so much softer. It is by far the best $7 I have ever spent on a beauty product.
