Gratitude Journal

Today I am grateful for:
  • Living in the U.S. On the radio coming in this morning I was listening to a few segments about the severe food shortage throughout Zimbabwe which has been caused by the tyrannical rule of Robert Mugabe. I do believe that we, as a country, have many things that we should work to improve but I am so thankful our country is the polar opposite of Zimbabwe.
  • Beautiful, wonderful, almost non-existent holiday rush-hour traffic. The ride in today was awesome! (Compared with the last 3 weeks which has been exponentially worse than before.)
  • Getting to work at a job I love. I know I have mentioned it before but it certainly bears repeating.
  • Having a holiday that is geared towards giving thanks. For some reason, the intention behind the holiday is really hitting home with me this year. I have so much to be thankful for and I am grateful to my core.
