Thank Goodness tonight is the last presidential debate. I don't know how much more of this I can take. I am sitting here watching McCain spout off everything that has been drilled into his head over the last week to try to trip Obama up. Half of it doesn't even make sense and isn't even on topic. He is just trying desperately to make Obama look bad.
I truly am open minded and I used to like McCain a lot but I would have so much more respect for him right now if he would talk about what he wants to do with the country rather than just spouting negative crap about Obama. Seriously, he just questioned Obama's relationship to that Ayers guy and the ACORN group. Obama responded and McCain immediately questioned the same things like he didn't even hear what Obama's response was 2 seconds earlier. It bothers me that McCain is fear mongering - trying to imply that Obama is a terrorist and involved in voter fraud - to scare the US population. I want to believe that people are too smart for that tactic and that they can decide based on issues.
Plus, McCain saying that he is not running any negative adds is crazy! His own campaign has released information showing that he is running 85% negative adds compared to Obama's 60% negative adds. I am so tired of all the back and forth between both of them. I am ready for the election to be over so we can just move on.
Ah, now McCain is questioning Obama's eloquence. Don't we want someone who can speak well as the representative of our country? I know it would be a change from our current situation but I think that would go a long way in itself to improve the world's view of our country's leadership. McCain doesn't speak poorly at all but to try to make Obama's eloquence a negative is again, crazy!
