Milo's new thing? Hitting his head on the wall, tile floor, coffee table... Pretty much whatever is within head's reach. He will bonk his head really hard too. Right now he has a big blue bruise right in the center of his forehead from cracking his noggin on the tile floor when he was frustrated the other day.
Mark and I keep thinking that he will figure out relatively quickly that this is not such a great idea but it hasn't occurred to him so far. Actually, that is not completely true. Tonight he bonked his head on the coffee table, started crying and started to bonk his head again but stopped himself in mid-bonk. Now he just needs to remember "Oh, that hurts!" BEFORE the first blow.
I did an online search earlier and apparently this is a normal way for little kids to express their frustration - especially before they can express themselves through words. Still. It is hard to watch your precious little angel beat himself up.
