Milo's First Haircut + Bonus Material (Playing at the Park)

Milo's hair had started getting a little out of control these last few weeks and we knew it was time for him to get a haircut. With the exception of me trimming a small part on the back of his head one time, all of our little one's hair was original (and he was born with some serious hair!). This picture was taken Saturday morning and if you look closely you can see his crazy hair in its full glory.

So, we packed up on Saturday morning and went out for breakfast and some errands. On the way back home we stopped at a local kids haircut place. With the exception of falling down and knocking his head on the corner of a bench when we walked in, Milo did great. He was a little traumatized by that fall so we let him keep his binky for the cut. He was completely enamored with the little car he got to sit in and he kept ringing the bell at the front of the car.


I thought the lady did a great job. She was so fast and kept asking us if she was taking off the right amount (we were apprehensive because we LOVE his hair and we definitely did not want him to end up with a buzz cut of any sort). Milo didn't cry at all - at least until it was time to leave - then he wailed the whole way out.

We rushed home and quickly put him down for a nap. He was rewarded for being such a trooper later when we went down to the neighborhood park. We met our neighbors there and although I didn't really get any good pictures of the kids together, they had a great time. The below picture shows Milo with his snazzy new cut. Isn't he a cutie-pie!? He looks like such a big boy to me now.

Going down the slide... He loves to go down by himself. He giggles the whole way down.
