Big Big Weekend

How could we not have a wonderful weekend when it included Birthday Weekend AND Father's Day? Milo's birthday pictures are plentiful so I am going to have to post them in phases. This is the birthday cake phase... present opening and actual birthday day phase are to come.

First, Happy Father's Day Mark! Thank you for being such a wonderful daddy and husband. You are the best! Dad (aka Papa) thank you for being such a great dad. I am so glad that you could be with us this weekend for the party and for Father's Day. I love you!

Cake! Mark and I actually made this cake. It was his mom's recipe so we thought she might have enjoyed the thought of us using it for his first birthday.

Milo's shirt is off and he is ready to go. We even put a sheet under his highchair. Once you see the "after" shots you will see why!

Daddy is helping Milo along with the ice cream in the below picture.

I think Mary may have contributed the war paint...


Now that was some serious cake. Milo enjoyed it as did everyone else. Happy birthday sweet boy!
