We had an appointment last week to check the progress on Milo's Cranial Band. So far everything is still going really well. The technician could definitely see some additional movement in the right direction. The top of his head is getting thinner and the back is even rounding out a bit. She made a few adjustments and we are scheduled to go back in about a week and a half. I haven't really asked how much longer it will be. I figure he will just wear it as long as he needs to.
I am going today to see if I can find some new stickers for decoration. Spidey peeled off a week or so ago and we have been toughing it out with some soccer stickers (that are actually cute but I did not spend as much time as I should have applying them so they all started peeling immediately.) If I find something cute I will post some updated photos.
In summary, the Band is working and Milo is still completely oblivious to it. It does not bother him in the least. As for stranger's comments, I have been pleasantly surprised that we have not really encountered any rude people. The other day we were at Target and a little boy pointed to Milo and said really loudly, "Mommy, look at that!" The mom was horrified but I actually thought it was funny. However, it did make me realize that it is good that we are doing this now and not when he is older. Kids pointing and laughing might give him a complex if he were a little more aware of all that.

Funny thing the Internet. While researching information for a story, I stumbled across this website. I don't know what drew me to click on it since I didn't even know you had married Mark (though I'm glad you did; I remember him as being a great guy). Anyway, Milo is beautiful and I'm truly happy to see that your life has turned out so well. You deserve it; you're a great person too.
Oh...to be completely random (and proving I read a couple of posts)...a great sci-fi read is John Scalzi's "Old Man's War." Interesting take on our future.
