Happy Halloween!

We celebrated Milo's first Halloween today! Well, we actually dressed him up last night to test his costume so we got started a little early. It was good that we did too because he was in a great mood last night and a pretty fussy mood today. Any of the pictures you see where he is smiling are definitely from last night... Anyway, we had fun despite the "fussies." Aunt Lynn came over to visit and our friends from next door came by as well.

Mark loves to dress up as Spiderman and has given his various offices lots of laughs in years past when he wears his costume under his work clothes and around mid-morning looks around, proclaims "What is that I hear?" and then proceeds to run out of the office while stripping his work shirt off. He returns seconds later in full Spiderman gear. Throughout the day he then runs around the office halls "sticking" himself to glass walls and doors and making everyone smile.

When we were deciding what Milo should be for Halloween we knew he had to be Spiderbaby. (I guess that would make me Mary Jane!) If this was not a photo opportunity, I don't know what would be!

We did not have too many trick-or-treaters (we forgot to turn the light on until it was almost dark outside) but Mark managed to freak out the few that came to the door. The little ones were scared and had to be pushed up to the door by their parents but the older kids seemed to think he was pretty cool.

Veronica (our next door neighbor) came by with Gracie and Cameron (aka Eeyore). They were both precious. Gracie was so funny... When she came to the door and held out her bag we were slow to respond because we were all commenting on how cute everyone was. She then reached into her bag and gave us some of her candy! What a sweet girl! It is fun to know that we will all be trick-or-treating together when the boys get a little older.

I just love this last one. He has a new thing now where he kind of squeals and laughs at the same time. This picture is in mid-squeal. I love that little Spiderbaby!
