Procrastination

What are we going to do with our 4 day weekend you ask? Hmm, well, we might baby proof. Yes, Milo is walking. Has been for a month and a half. Can he open cabinets yet? Yep. Climb stairs? Yep. Do we have the stuff that we need to baby proof? Oh yeah.

Sadly, both Mark and I are master procrastinators. A few years ago we both took one of those personality tests that are supposed to tell you all about yourself. I can't remember now what our classification was but we fell in the same category and one shared characteristic stays in my memory. Procrastination - specifically in home projects. The results said that "we would have the best of intentions, plan the project completely, buy everything necessary to complete the project and then the supplies would sit in a closet indefinitely." That pretty much sums us up. Strangely, we are both very productive at work and we stay actively engaged with our little man at home. It is just that when we do have a free, quiet moment we would rather chill out (Me: read, Mark: watch sports, play music) for a bit than undertake a "project."

By the way, don't worry about Milo... we don't let him roam about our non-baby proofed house unsupervised. We watch him to make sure he doesn't get into anything he shouldn't. Oh, and we have put in outlet plugs. That didn't require a screw driver...
