We got home this afternoon from our trip to visit Sarah, Greg and the boys. As always, we had such a nice time. Griffin was a little under the weather on Thursday but he started feeling better by the end of the day. It seemed like the best medicine was for him to get his mind off of feeling yucky so we watched lots of Wow! Wow! Wubzy! and The Backyardigans. I am withholding judgement on Wubzy but I really like The Backyardigans.
Yesterday we definitely made up for lost time. We picked up the boys at Vacation Bible School, grabbed lunch, took naps (all of us including me and Sarah - yeah!) and then headed out to Bill & Patti's (Greg's parents) to swim at their lake house. It is so beautiful out there, the pool was awesome and the weather was perfect. We all had so much fun... I was actually pruney when we finally got out of the water. Milo had a ball. He really loved being in the water. He even went under a few times and it didn't phase him in the least.
I hate to admit it but, although I took my camera, I did not take one photo the whole time I was there. However, Sarah took some so hopefully she got some "blog worthy" pictures of all our fun. Speaking of pictures, I know I have seriously been falling down on the job of posting recent Milo pics. Starting tomorrow I am going to try to post a new picture of Milo everyday this week. Don't hold it against me if I miss a day but I will do my best. Stay tuned!
