Gratitude Journal

Today I am grateful for:

1. The beautiful view outside of my window at work. My window looks directly onto downtown Dallas. I never would have imagined that when I was growing up.
2. The possibility of rain today.
3. A working air conditioner in my car. Back in the day I actually did have a car that had no working air conditioner. Let me tell you... summer heat, pantyhose and an hour drive to and from work is no fun without some air!
4. The sweet smile I almost always get when I peak back at Milo when driving in each morning. It is such a nice way to begin the day.
5. Some of my favorite bloggers... My wonderfully talented sister posted some awesome pictures of our visit a few weeks ago. Check them out here. Also, reading Girl's Gone Child is truly one of my favorite simple joys. Her writing epitomizes everything that I love best about "mommy blogging."
