As I mentioned earlier in the week, music is a key component to Milo's happiness in the car lately so I have been pulling out some old CDs and have kept my ears open for new music I think he would like. As a consequence, I have also been more open to different types of music. The other day on NPR they had a segment about the Carolina Chocolate Drops - modern musicians who have come together as a String Band. I can think of few things that inspire me more than watching / listening to people who are doing something they love. This group definitely qualifies.
It is not the best video of them and the song is not really appropriate for Milo... but the music and their love of it make me happy. What better way to celebrate Friday? Happy Friday everyone!
