Question: What is even more annoying than the battery dying in the smoke detector right above your bed at 3:45 in the morning?
Answer: The ceiling being so high that you first locate a step stool to change the battery and the step stool isn't tall enough, then randomly try a bar stool which also isn't tall enough and finally have to go dig a full-size ladder out of the garage to change the stupid battery and get the incessant beeping to stop before it drives you insane.
Can you tell I was a little bitter at the time? I need some coffee.
