Gratitude Journal

Today I am grateful because:

• We are in the peak of the fall season in Texas. There are so many of those gorgeous red and yellow trees right now. They are so bright they glow.
• I am finally feeling almost back to normal. I truly don't think I have ever blown my nose as much as I have in the last 2 weeks.
• We actually got the Christmas tree up last night. We haven't decorated it yet but at least we got past the first step.
• Finally, I am really grateful because of this. In all of the horrible things the world has to worry about I have never understood why homosexuality is such a big deal. The God I believe in would never take issue with love - no matter how it is framed. I am glad a major news outlet has finally come out with such a fair look at the question of gay marriage.
