The Saga Continues

I only have a minute because I am in a mad rush to get everything in order in my office before we have the baby (which may give you a hint as to how our doctor appointment went yesterday...). Everything is still OK with the baby but Dr. Maxey still feels like the abdomen is more of a concern than Dr. Payne seemed to. So, long story short we are now seeing Dr. Maxey twice a week and we will have the baby sometime in the next week to two weeks depending on how those appointments go. Again, everything is OK. Just keep in mind that technically the medical community considers 37 weeks to be full term for a baby and we are at 35 this week (according to Dr. Maxey's count).

Amazingly, Mark and I are actually ready at the house but I am not ready at work. There is just so much to do before I leave and I think the building is rebelling against me because it knows I am leaving for a little while. Just in the last week we have had MAJOR water, HVAC and electricity issues. All at the same time but not related in any way. Plus, I have a new assistant in the office. She is absolutely wonderful but I need to make sure that she has a good knowledge base before I go. Fun, huh? So... I have to go. So much to do! Ahhhhhh!

I'm one of your blog "stalkers"! I went to ACU with Sarah, so I found your blog through hers! I've been thinking and praying for your little baby. Can't wait to meet him on your blog!

Jessica,
It's sarah's friend sam... reading your blog is a flashback to my whole experience with Emily's early arrival. My high blood pressure caused IUGR with Emily's abdomen.. same thing.. it was lagging three weeks behind the rest of her measurements... four days later after my blood pressure went to stroke level she was here! My thoughts and prayers are with you guys. I know that little Great will be just fine, he's almost full term so that should alleviate some concern and worry. I'll continue to check in on you through Sarah and look forward to seeing pictures of your sweet baby boy! Good luck!
