Tucson, AZ

So I was in Tucson almost all of last week at a Management Conference. Let me tell you, that was my kind of work! And YES, we really did work... At least a little bit. I consistently broke Mark's cardinal rule of photography - Don't take landscape shots. But seriously? Not even beautiful, awe inspiring landscape?

We did not start the conference until the afternoon of the first full day I was there. I got to sit on my patio looking out at the mountains in the top picture and worked with Starbuck's and this for breakfast. In case you are wondering that is my laptop to the right. Working. Working really hard.

The resort was gorgeous. It was the Westin La Paloma in case anyone is trekking to Arizona anytime soon.

You can take in the stunning views...

And check out the cactus which are literally 6 feet tall.

Just watch out for the wild life. If you are not careful they may take off a foot (which this little owl probably would have done to me when I almost stepped on it had it not been a baby).
