Spray Park

A few weeks ago we went to a spray park one suburb over. Since we live in "stroller city" you would think that we would have a local spray park but no such luck... Anyway, after driving a little longer than we should have we got out of the car to greet the 104 degree afternoon and Milo wanted nothing to do with the water. Every time either Mark or I tried to put him down on the ground he would clamp those little legs around us like he was holding on for dear life. Both of us did end up running through the water with him a few times just to say we did.

Our saving grace was this HUGE playground that was right next to the spray park. The great thing about it is that we had gotten just wet enough to make playing out in the heat of the day tolerable. We ended up with so many really good pictures and I will post more later. This is just the sneak-peek.

This picture would be true perfection if my hand wasn't in it. He was sitting at the top of a slide though and I wanted to be able to grab him if he started to fall down the slide.

Something about this picture gets me. I know he has a silly look on his face but those beautiful brown eyes, his rosy pink cheeks, the flyaway curls and those two lonely teeth all make me smile. My sweet boy.
