Babies Everywhere

I have never had many people around me that are having babies... that is why I love to live vicariously through my sister, Sarah and her friends. However, now that I am pregnant, I have encountered a few "pregnancy friends." As many of you probably know, Mark's mother passed away a few weeks ago. During the week leading up to the funeral, many of Mark's family friends came into town. One of his sisters has a long-time friend that came in and she and I realized that we are the exact same distance along in our pregnancies. We had several other strange coincidences too. I won't bore you with all of them. Suffice it to say they were as random as the doctors giving us both due dates in July and then moving the due dates up to June. Weird!

Then last night our next door neighbor Veronica came over with a flower delivery she had accepted for us. She told me that she is 20 weeks pregnant (vs. my 16 weeks) and they had just found out yesterday that they are having a baby boy. They already have a sweet 3 year-old little girl named Gracie. It was freezing outside, but we stayed out there talking about baby stuff for 15 minutes.

OK, maybe two incidents don't really warrant the title "Babies Everywhere" but that is a lot for me!

I'm so glad you are blogging! I'm also glad you don't have morning sickness. I wish I had started blogging long ago so I could capture every throw up that happened. :) We have been praying for this new baby and know that he or she is going to come out just perfect.

That's fun that your neighbor is pregnant... your little one already has a friend close by. Although his (or her)'s cousins will be there to visit often!

There are babies everywhere. I think everyone I know who is pregnant is due this summer! Lots to look forward to.

Love you,
Sarah
