Milo has been surrounded by music his whole life (even in utero). He has a wonderful sense of rhythm and sings all the time. He loves to play on his daddy's DJ equipment and "scratching" with the CD turntables is his absolutely favorite bedtime delay tactic. His newest thing is drumming and he will drum on anything and everything within reach. He alternately uses the Rock Star drumsticks and the wooden spoons in the kitchen. Our most common task is to find him several things to drum on that will give him different sounds and have the least chance of making us crazy.
A few nights ago he found an empty trash can, turned it upside down and was drumming with his hands to accompany the song Mark was playing. Actually he was drumming with one hand and holding the microphone with the other so he could sing too. That is serious multitasking for a 3-year-old!
His Aunt Renee would be so proud (since she began threatening to buy him a drum set before he was out of diapers). Granted, he is loud. It is worth it though to see that sweet smile light up his face.
