The Festivities

OK, there weren't really too many festivities per se... Mark did take the day off and when Milo and I arrived home on Friday the house was clean and Mark had baked Milo a chocolate birthday cake from scratch. How fabulous! We took Milo to his favorite restaurant, Golden Corral, and he chowed down on his favs - green beans, mandarin oranges, carrots and rolls. It was a good day.

Dad got into town late that night for a quick weekend visit and we had a great time. Little Cameron from next door has recently gotten a bike and has really taken to it so we thought Milo might not be far behind since there is only a few weeks difference in their ages. Dad got him the bike for his birthday and though he hasn't really figured out the pedal action yet he loves for us to push him around the entryway.



This was our first attempt with the helmet. Milo wasn't a big fan (hence the binky).

But he warmed up a little bit eventually...

It seems strange that we have a child old enough to ride a bike. Does that feeling ever go away?
