- A few weeks ago we ate at a Thai food restaurant and I ordered some soup. In one of my mouthfuls, I ate something that looked like a water chestnut and tasted so horrible that it ruined the entire rest of my meal because I could not get the taste out of my mouth. When I asked the waitress about it, she said "Oh, you are not supposed to eat that!" Doesn't it seem like there should be some warning or required notification if something is in your food that you are not supposed to eat? I still think they must sit in the kitchen and watch, laughing that "they got another one."
- A radio station in town has apparently been playing Christmas music since the first of November. I think Terri said it best when she described that as obscene. I mean seriously - two months of Christmas music?!?
- I noticed today that I (along with everyone else on the Tollway) shake my head when I pass someone in a car who is in their own little world because they are on the phone. It occurred to me afterward that I am probably the subject of the head shaking occasionally (along with almost everyone else on the Tollway.)
- Why is it that it is so easy to plan to "do better" tomorrow (i.e. eat better, exercise more ~ or exercise at all, wash clothes, straighten the house) at the end of today but so hard to actually do it when tomorrow rolls around?
