Setting Expectations

Now that Milo has his big boy room, I get his old room for my own office space (yeah!). I was putting the finishing touches on it this weekend and "borrowed" a lamp from Milo's room. A little while later I walked in and found this taped to the wall in my new room.

When I asked him about it, he told me he wanted to be sure I understood that he was only loaning the lamp to me for 7 days. Since then, he reminds me daily how many days I have left. I guess my plan to co opt the lamp permanently is not going to fly...
