Time Flies

I just realized my last post was almost a whole month ago... It has been a crazy, busy, hectic, fun month! Just a few things that have filled my days since then? I worked on the due diligence for a new building my company is hoping to buy, finalized training documents for our new Granite team members in Atlanta, traveled to Atlanta for the better part of a week to actually complete the training, attended a welcome event at our main building for a huge new tenant that is moving in, had lunch with the Mayor of Dallas (OK, maybe I just sat by him at an industry lunch but still!), celebrated Valentine's Day with my two 'boys,' presented a whole bunch of awards to amazingly talented people at BOMA (see this link if you are on Facebook), and not to be forgotten, Mark, Milo and I spent two entire weekends completely renovating one of our guest rooms to be Milo's new big boy room (and yes, I did intend to include Milo in that list! Let me tell you, painting a room with a 4 year old is an interesting endeavor. We made it through though. Barely.). Pictures to come I promise!

Now, Mark and I are looking forward to a fun night on the town tomorrow to celebrate our 13 year anniversary. I know, INSANE!! It seems like just yesterday. Time flies... especially during months like this. I have moments where the craziness builds up a little bit (stress? what stress?) but the truth is that I would not have it any other way. I feel so fortunate to be living this life. Mark and Milo fill my heart with love, I am challenged by my work and feel proud to work for my company and I am surrounded by amazing friends. Gratitude truly seeps from my pores each and every moment of the day.
