It was bound to happen... Mark signed Milo up for soccer. I will be the first to admit I am not quite ready to begin team sports. Selfishly, this is less because of Milo and more about me being protective of our free time. That said, I know Milo will love having this to share with Mark so I need to just get on board. I think it will be easier to be happy about it when the games are not at 8:00 on Saturday morning. (I know, right!?)

Milo was pretty excited at first. He even had a good run with the ball. That lasted until all the kids converged to kick the ball. Then he was pretty much done.

This is his "done" face.

He sure does look cute though...

After a break he decided to go back on the field for a bit.

What a team! My boys.

Happily, Papa was in town so he got to witness Milo's very first game. I think Milo actually took this picture during one of his breaks.

In true Mark fashion he ended up coaching the team since the actual coach had to do something for his daughter. He was a kids soccer coach when I met him so he has had plenty of practice. He was so good with the kiddos!

Hmmm... I think this was toward the end of the game (thankfully!).

We finally lured him back to our blanket and just let him be a spectator for a few minutes.

Yeah! The obligatory team shot. Go, go Mighty Minis!

It was a rough first game but I have every confidence Milo will be a pro in no time! Especially with Daddy right there by his side.
