Oh yeah, we totally documented Milo's first visit to the library...
After all, it is a pretty important event. I vividly remember going to the library as a kid and I want Milo to have that same experience. We definitely started strong! Milo and I talked about going to the library Saturday and he asked repeatedly about it for the rest of the weekend.
He was hooked when I told him they had number AND letter books. Whew! What an amazing place!
His wish list was a number book, a letter book and a 'Cat in the Hat' book. Dr. "Shoes" is his new favorite - both in reading material and the new PBS show. Thanks again Aunt Sarah!
I demonstrated checking the books out once and then Milo took over from there.

Once we got home he went straight to the couch and started reading his new books. I went over to see if he wanted any help and not only did he ask me to "please get off of his books," he told me that HE was reading. Well, OK then. Read on buddy. Read on.
