This is the "staging" room and I am slowly making progress in getting it cleaned up. Who knew it would take so long to actually decide where to put things vs. just shoving them in a closet?
Some things have sentimental value (like this "New House" board that was our motivator when saving for the house) but that have no inherent value and just take up space. Then, as if we did not have enough of a mess, Mark and I got the painting bug this weekend.
Sadly, after all this, we still could not decide on a color. Even our dining / entry area was not safe...
Happily, we actually made a decision on the bedroom color and painted at least a part of the room in our spare time Sunday and Monday. I forgot how much I dislike the whole painting process. It came flooding back to me immediately with the first tear of the painter's tape. I do like the end product though.
