Behind the Scenes

We took Milo to playcare this weekend for Mark's Christmas party and when we went to pick him up the teachers all commented on what a sweet boy he is... and he is, but it sure is nice to hear it from a neutral third party.

I think it is true what they say - that kids always act better when their parents are not around. Milo is a patient, caring, reasonable child about 75% of the time and then the other 25% of the time it is like his head starts spinning around. He threw a tantrum this weekend that was truly epic. It involved not only the standard screaming but jumping long distances across the room, landing on his knees (which looked like it hurt) and ONLY THEN beating his arms on the ground. It was actually kind of funny. Kind of.

I know it is good that he is testing his boundaries with us since we love him unconditionally; however, you always wonder what side of him others get to see. I will take the 25% if it is helping him grow. I am glad they get the 75%.
