So, yeah, Scout is ginormous. We are trying to keep him off of the couch and bed but he has found a way to beat the system. I have to admit though... I like him being close so I can pet him easier. That said, he hasn't started shedding yet so my feelings on the matter might change.
He has the softest fur ever - especially so when it is nice and clean! He makes it really easy to keep him clean too. I have to keep him from literally climbing into the bath when Milo is bathing and when he hears the water running in the bathroom I use to bathe him, he comes running. He climbs right in and sprawls there like he is in the middle of a spa treatment. I actually let the water fill up a little bit and he is total and complete in heaven. The secret to really soft fur? Throw a little Pantene on there before the final rinse!
