Last Sunday, to celebrate Easter, we decided to go over to the Dallas Arboretum which was in its final days of "Dallas Blooms." It is one of those things we always say we are going to do and I am so glad we finally did! The Arboretum used to be no comparison to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens but they have really made some beautiful improvements. The tulips were absolutely gorgeous! It sprinkled on us a bit while we were there but we had a wonderful time.

OK, well it might have taken Milo a little while to have a wonderful time...
Still not quite having fun...

Here we go! Our little guy finally snapped out of it.
It truly was a beautiful day. Perfect for playing airplane with Daddy. You don't see it here but this area overlooks White Rock Lake and there is a small stage for live music. The band was just setting up when we had to leave but we could hear them warming up as we were playing.
Notice Milo's new haircut? The lady clearly misinterpreted our request to trim the back and sides while leaving the curls (because, you know, that is such a vague request) but it is growing on us (literally and figuratively!). He just looks like such a big boy now - especially with the short hair.
Milo loves his Uncle Brad. His mystique is just amplified by the fact that he has an actual robot at his house!
One final funny Easter story... So, we don't really give Milo candy. I think the only candy he has ever really had is one tiny box of Nerds this last Halloween. He doesn't know that he is missing anything since he has no big brothers or sisters to show him the "ways of the candy." Don't worry, he has had his fair share of cake, cookies and ice cream. I got him an Easter basket - it just included non-candy things like bubbles and a slinky. He did have an Easter egg hunt at school so he came home with a few candy-ish items. He had no idea what they were. He just thought they were toys (which we may have encouraged a bit by telling him the jelly beans were just little tiny balls). He discarded them pretty quickly when he realized they didn't bounce very well.
